Aims
The main goal of the Swiss Chopin Society of Basel is to promote artistic and scientific interest in Frédéric Chopin’s work. We want to make his music accessible to a broad public in a multi-faceted way. To achieve this, we realize and foster musical, scientific, and literary projects, our efforts focusing especially on the promotion of young pianists. Another aim of the foundation of the Chopin Society of Basel is to integrate musically-minded people in Switzerland into the dynamic network of international Chopin societies.
